An Experimental and Case Study on the Evaluation of the Partial Shading Impact on PV Module Performance Operating Under the Sudano-Sahelian Climate of Cameroon

Partial shading is a factor that influences the performance of PV module. The study sought to evaluate impact partial on module in Sudano-Sahelian climate conditions Cameroon. behavior was simulated using MATLAB/Simulink for 12 months with data from town Yagoua. power, current, and voltage losses were estimated by varying rate 5.0% 95.0%, an increase 5.0%. results show that, when ranges 55.0%, power current are very significant vary 3.0% 52.0% 3.0%–53.0%, respectively. this range remains almost invariant. For 60.0% slightly reach approximately 60.0%. A small loss observed, 1.0% 3.0%. Significant noted 55.0% 59.0%. From 40.0% onwards, mismatch observed power-voltage characteristics curve presence two maximum points.
